This 19" set is a great choice for the kitchen table or counter; may be too small for anything else except a small bedroom. Crisp picture with multiple aspect ratio choices. Great HD over cable feed. Nice remote with good features; easy to use. Our set had a glitch when it arrived: A couple of channels had no video until the set warmed up for some time. Quick contact with the Toshiba help desk (toll-free telephone) determined that our model version required a firmware upgrade. They immediately mailed a flash drive with the "fix" and it was received in four days and easily installed in a jiffy. Though we've only had ours for about a week, if it holds up at present quality, we'll be very glad of our choice.

I returned one of these due to the washed out picture. If you added brightness, the picture was washed out. If you the added contrast, it was too dark. I received a second one and it has the same problem. My wife is OK with this now, so we are keeping it. I would not recommend this unit for the reason above

I searched for days for a replacement TV for my RV. After reading reviews from several sources and actually going to retail outlets to see for myself, I found that most of the smaller TV's had poor sound quality. Some lacked clarity in the picture. My research even included the Toshiba with DVD player. The 19AV600U model seemed to perform better than ALL of the others I had researched. I decided to purchase the Toshiba 19AV600U. I installed the TV in the bedroom our RV and put it to use on our recent camping trip. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Installation and hook up was very simple. The sound and picture clarity (especially for a small TV) has proven to be excellent. If you are looking for a smaller TV for home or RV, I would recommend you consider the Toshiba 19AV006U 19 inch 720p Portable LCD HDTV.

This TV is awesome. I bought it for our kitchen and it is great. The picture and sound are really good.Bought it one day and had it delivered in two days.Setup was so easy.Looks great in our kitchen.Highly recommend.

GREAT LITTLE TV FOR THE MONEY. MY ONLY COMPLAINT SO FAR IS THAT IT TAKES A RELATIVELY LONG TIME TO SWITCH BETWEEN CHANNELS. ITS ADEQUATE FOR USE IN OUR LIVING ROOM. I DONT LIKE BIG TV'S. I DONT THINK THEY SHOULD DOMINATE, AND THIS ONE IS SMALL BUT GOOD QUALITY FOR THE PRICE.
